I'll admit it folks, Mister Meat and Taters got suckered by the ole Cain-meister. He seemed like a true stand-up guy, a leader who could roll back the endless assault of un-Constitutional BIG GOVT on our society and our pocketbooks. But in the end, Herman Cain turned out to be a flawed individual who never should have run for the presidency in the first place.
The final allegation by Ginger White, though denied by Cain was just too much for the campaign to handle. It stretches the credulity for almost anyone that a man could legitimately be giving money to a woman for 13 years without his wife having any knowledge of it. This might work in democRAT circles where that kind of conduct would be laughed about but with Republican voters (who still have values), there's simply no way in the world it would work.
Cain should have come clean with supporters instead of lying about it. What if he just admitted an inappropriate relationship with White and appeared on television with his wife, just like the Clintons did in 1992? I believe the campaign could have survived because the times we live in are so dire and people are willing to overlook marital transgressions so long as the candidate can solve our nation's problems.
Sadly, Cain took the cowardly route (just like Bill Clinton) by lying about his past. As the media jackals closed in from all sides, he had no choice but to exit the race and use his family as the excuse for leaving! How shameful. I feel horribly burned by this "false prophet" who I fervently supported for over a year. Thank God I never sent him money!
Some people weren't so lucky as Cain's coffers were filling nicely with cash from die-hard supporters like myself. What should be done with all of that money? The rumor is that Cain is attempting to start a Palin-style PAC called "Cain Solutions". This is patently ridiculous! What would be the agenda of such a political action committee? hmmmm Let's see. Get everyone's hopes up across America, lead them on for over a year and then lie to them when skeletons start jumping out of closets? No thanks Mr. Cain, I'm not buying.
Until Herman Cain steps up like a man and comes clean, I'm urging everyone to avoid his PAC like the plague! He may have a nice chunk of ill-gotten cash to start "Cain Solutions" but without continuous donations, it won't last very long. With time, he'll fade into oblivion and become a footnote to a footnote. Right where he belongs....
