The "electoral drubbing of our lifetimes" isn't a week in the rear-view mirror and already the left-wing is trying to poison the well for Sarah Palin in 2012. What an unexpected turn of events. :-)
A steady drumbeat of articles have emerged from the leftist-infested media and....would you believe the GOP establishment who have actually joined forces? Imagine that. The tired, old, worn-out "has been" named Peggy Noonan (aka The Nooner) had to chime in over an innocuous comment Palin made about Ronald Reagan's resume as he worked his way to the White House. Simply....
"Wasn't Reagan an actor who starred in 'Bedtime for Bonzo'?"
Yes, in fact, that statement is TRUE and if you go back and check the ever-so-helpful media's coverage of Reagan, they NEVER let him live it down. Did you also know that Reagan was a lowly radio announcer for WHO in Des Moines, IA? Now you do.
Before Peggy Noonan and her buddy, Michael Gerson have another conniption..... May I point out that Palin didn't say Reagan was ONLY an actor? Only that he WAS ONE and that's a fact! So knock-off the sickening hypersensitivity which is so characteristic of the disingenous demagogue-Crats and act like real adults. Oh and Larry Kudlow, you need to take a chill pill as well. Love ya!
As if the aforementioned wasn't bad enough, this weekend I go to the UK Telegraph and see an article CLAIMING that George W. Bush (a guy the media never talks about unless they need to give Obama a pass) said Palin isn't presidential material. But alas, when you read the article, you see the word "allegedly" used two times in the first 3 paragraphs. If that isn't a clear enough case of journalistic malpractice, read a little further and you see that "unamed sources close to the president claim they heard...." LOL!
Folks, what's going on here is so straight-forward that even a mindless Obama-Drone could figure it out. We have people who are in the Republican party hierarchy such as strategist Karl Rove and former speechwriters Noonan and Gerson TEAMING UP WITH the leftists who run our "lamestream media" complex. The $128,000 question (adjusted for inflation) is why?
I believe it's because Sarah Palin is potentially the greatest "change agent" we've seen in this country since Ronald Reagan. You do remember him don't you? The guy who we were told couldn't win in 1976 so we put up a "pale pastel" leisure suit from Grand Rapids named Gerald Ford. Then again in 1980, we were told: He supported Goldwater in 1964 and is too much like him, we can't risk another 44 state landslide.
"Wellll", America wasn't ready for a Goldwater in 1964 because times were fat, dumb and happy, which put people to sleep. It was a much different story in 1980 and I suspect our current "misery index" won't change much between now and 2012. In the meantime, keep hammering away on Palin you fear mongering fools. It will only cause the electorate to take a closer look at who she is and what she stands for, just in time to cast their vote.
