If you're ambivalent about voting next Tuesday or perhaps a tad confused over who to vote for.... Consider the stakes in the "fight".
Covered previously in this blog (ad nauseum some would say) is our coming financial collapse. Some statistics for you to ponder:
1) Our national debt is 19.1 Trillion dollars (including Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debt of 5.6 Trillion).
2) Our GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is 14.4 Trillion dollars.
3) Our Debt to GDP ratio is 132% which means financially speaking, we are "underwater".
4) The U.S. Treasury printed 2 Trillion dollars of "fiat" money over the past year because they felt like it.
5) REAL unemployment (U6) in America is approximately 18 to 20%.
6) The VALUE of the U.S. dollar is backed up by NOTHING except the "faith and credit" of our government which sucks!
7) The U.S. dollar was equal to 300 Japanese Yen in 1978 & only 79 today.
8) The U.S. dollar is returning to its intrinsic value of ZERO. (Remember, it's only "dirty paper"! lol)
I do NOT want to have to fight my fellow Americans in the streets when the dollar finally collapses and chaos ensues. I do NOT want to have to blow people away who try to break into my home in a desperate search for foodstuffs, medicinal supplies or other things we've taken for granted all these years. This is a nightmarish scenario I don't want to even think about but it WILL HAPPEN if the dollar does collapse and..... WE ARE HEADED DOWN THAT PATH.
I have lost faith in the American people to wake themselves from their "prosperity induced slumber" and take the necessary thoughtful and even painful steps to reign in our government. This is why I prepare everyday with the acronym "C.A.P." which stands for:
1) Canned goods
2) Ammunition
3) Precious metals
All families should have a few thousand in today's dollars of each! When all hell breaks loose next week, next month, next year, five years from now, the ones who have prepared will be able to live a somewhat normal life and protect what they have from others who will seek to take it. Silver is inexpensive at only about $25 an ounce and reasonably easy to liquidate, i.e. convert to necessary goods and services in the event you need it. Rugged individuals stand up when the going gets as difficult as it has gotten in America over the past couple years. This includes having the maturity to make an HONEST assessment of the threats we face and prepare for them accordingly. Inform others of the stakes in this year's mid-term elections, educate them and help them make a choice for smaller, Constitutionally-limited government.
