A casualty of the "Information War"

By now, the news has spread across the land that Rush Limbaugh will only be associated with the NFL as a couch-potato-style fan.  Why? Because he became a casualty of the "Information War" last night around 1900 hours.

St. Lous Blues owner, Dave Checketts pulled Limbaugh's name from the list of buyers for the St. Louis Rams football team last night after a well coordinated "smear campaign" against Limbaugh reached a crescendo that was absolutely deafening.  Commentators lined up one after another on such doggedly accurate cable news channels as CNN and MSNBC to fuel the smear and watch it grow.  Even a U.S. Congressman, Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) took the time to go up on the floor of the People's House in Washington and opine about Rush Limbaugh.  As if this woman doesn't have bigger fish currently frying on her plate.  What a joke!

You may not remember but it was 2 years ago that Limbaugh was the target of another smear and it went in Rush's favor in the end. The attack was launched by Senate Majority Leader Harry "the Body" Reid (D-NV) and concerned a comment Rush made on his show about "phony soldiers" posing as Iraq War Veterans for the news media to gain interviews.  Harry Reid drafted a letter from the United States Senate to admonish Limbaugh for "disrespecting our fine soldiers" and got 42 democRAT Senators to sign the letter including none other than candidate for President, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Upon witnessing this incredible event, I realized in October 2007 that America was embroiled in a "War" that dwarfed the War on Terror or any other war we've fought in our nation's history.  This "war" is fought over information, over what is the TRUTH in America.  If a representative republic like ours becomes divided over what is the truth, its days become numbered.

The absolute travesty of justice that yanked Rush Limbaugh from possible ownership of the St. Louis Rams is yet another battle in what I called the "Information Wars" over 2 years ago.  Read on and see if I wasn't on target like a cruise missile!
