Big News East Tennessee!

Just got word that President George W. Bush is coming to East Tennessee on October 7th for a visit to Sevier County.  As many of you know, the former President owes a debt of gratitude to this region of the country because of our pivotal role in the 2000 election.

Few presidential elections in this country's history were closer than 2000 and in that year something funny happened.  The incumbent VP lost his homestate!  What enabled that to happen folks?  The downhome, freedom loving, conservative folks of East Tennessee.

So, it is fitting that President Bush makes an EXTREMELY RARE public appearance in the region of the country that helped him achieve the highest office in the land. Let this serve as a reminder to the rest of the nation, that East Tennessee saved our country from an uncertain fate had Al Gore been elected to office.

Can you imagine a post-9/11 world with a non-agressive, pacifist like Al Gore at the helm?  Oh wait, we have a similar character in charge right now.  His name is Barack Hussein Obama ("Mmm Mmm Mmmmm")! :-)~
