This one's going to be short and sweet folks. I had a nice article all prepared and the hotel computer dumped it. Now it's 1030pm and I have to be up in just a few hours to fly the friendly skies. Please read on and take action, many people depend on you fellow Grassroot Troopers.
I was writing about the disaster being created by judicial tyranny in the San Joaquin Valley of California. All in the name of a fish. This "delta smelt" looks as cute as any fish I've ever seen but its preservation doesn't justify cutting off a water supply, turning fertile soil into dust and destroying hard working Americans' lives.
You can call me cold, callous and cruel but I don't care if a few smelt perish in the impellers of irrigation pumps. The needs of hungry, unemployed citizens far outweigh the needs of a fish. Make sense? To most it should.
I called both Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) today and begged them to raise a ruckus on Capitol Hill about the lunacy that is occurring in California. We are allowing "eco-marxists" to turn this beautiful area into a 1930's style "dust-bowl".

Update: Congressman John "Jimmy" Duncan, Jr. (R-TN) of the 2nd District gave an excellent speech on the House Floor in support of our starving and suffering fellow Americans in the San Joaquin Valley of California. I'm not sure if video is available on the web but I want to applaud Congressman Duncan for a JOB WELL DONE! Bravo Zulu, Sir!
The day we sacrifice the lives of our fellow citizens for the safety of a fish is the day we cease to live in a civilized society.
