We lost 4 U.S. Marines last week because Obama and his people have changed the "Rules of Engagement" in Afghanistan. Remember three weeks ago when I posted a column called "Afghanistan: Vietnam Redux"? I said the following:
"Not trying to be a kill-joy folks but we were told by the leftists who now control the US military that the REAL war was not in Iraq but in Afghanistan. They better be damn careful not to pull another LBJ/McNamara on us, once was enough!"
According to the article by McClatchy News Service, Obama is indeed taking us down the path to another Vietnam. How? By micro-managing the conduct of the war and changing the "Rules of Engagement" to limit the chance of civilian casualties. This concept of limited warfare has been proven a failure in the past, our generals should start speaking up before more troops are needlessly killed!
Read the story of what went on this week in Afghanistan and just for one moment, try to imagine being the parents of these fine soldiers. Their blood is on the Commander-In-Chief's hands.
Btw, I'm convinced we're going to lose in Afghanistan after reading this article.
