People are waking up and not a moment too soon. I'm meeting people on my flights and around the airport who have never paid attention to politics in their lives but the fear of losing their medical care not to mention their liberty is motivating them to confront the "enemy within". People like the recently departed Van Jones or the malcontent named R.Y.A.N. who posts on my blog are the best examples of who's in control of today's government. Whether it be the Congress, the White House or (to a somewhat lesser degree) the Supreme Court, all 3 of these institutions are controlled by STATISTS. As such, they favor government power over individual freedoms in almost every case.
Since people are NOW paying attention and I'm getting more visitors than ever, I've decided to post my best column of 2008. It was in advance of the presidential election and keep in mind, this was before the stock market freefall that took place in the 2nd week of October. Once that freefall happened and 1929-style fear kicked in, Barack Obama became our president. Please read on.

The DEMS punished this economy, now let's PUNISH them!

As I said yesterday, the Obama-Biden ticket is a sinking ship for various reasons not the least of which is the man at the top of the ticket has LESS EXPERIENCE than the woman at the bottom of the Republican ticket. Will someone go back in presidential history for me and find an election with this amazing set of circumstances. Good luck, you've got a better chance of finding a needle in a haystack or stuffin' a sausage through the eye of that needle when you find it!
Make no mistake about it folks, the news a few days ago that McCain is leading Obama by 10 points with likely voters is most devastating to their campaign. You can rest assured that fingernails are being gnawed to the quick and in Democrat "war rooms", knees are knocking and tempers are flaring. "How the heck did this happen? We're losing to a worn-out geezer and a hot chick from Alaska!" they complain to themselves as they formulate a counter-attack.
The only option besides trying to destroy Sarah Palin and her family (the one currently being utilized) is to pull off a 1992 redux! Paint our current economic situation as the Great Depression all over again. Remember my joke about Democrats? The Great Depression was the best thing that ever happened to them! (haha...I kill me) But this time the strategy will be difficult if not impossible to execute, I stated why in a column last week called "The Democrat Party: A house of cards":
"Their only refrain to deaden the pain is 'It's the economy stupid!' but just like 1992, this economy isn't all that bad. The difference this time is that the mainstream LIBERAL MEDIA MONOLITH has been smashed by the internet, talk radio and Fox News Channel. Thank God! This time the Democrats will have to work alot harder to convince Americans that it's 'soup line America'."
We all know that in the end, liars and thieves end up getting caught. I hope this election season is just that sterling moment for Democrats who have LIED about so many things over so many years, it is mind boggling to reflect upon. Whether it be:
- Demagoguing the Republican attempts to reform the school lunch program in 1995 by holding up empty school lunch trays.
- Lying about Welfare Reform which Newt Gingrich forced Clinton to sign during an election year....it worked splendidly!
- Lying about tax cuts ostensibly for the rich on Capitol Hill by displaying a Lexus muffler (the rich would get the Lexus).
- Lying about their ability to end the Iraq War to gain control of Congress.
THESE DEMOCRATS WHO LEAD THEIR PARTY IN WASHINGTON ARE DESPICABLE CHARLATANS!
Hopefully, likely voters will continue informing themselves by becoming students of history. The information is out there if people just take the initiative to do a little digging. Today's internet (thanks to Algore...) makes the task easier than ever. Democrats must pay for their disloyalty, demagoguery and governance against the will of the people, particularly with respect to domestic energy. Energy costs are BREAKING OUR ECONOMY'S BACK, after rising so fast and this Democrat-led Congress has BLOCKED ALL ATTEMPTS to expand domestic energy supplies when their countrymen needed them most!
Democrats (and weak kneed Repussicans mind you) need to be punished this November 4th and I mean PUNISHED HARD!
