There's no freedom of speech in Reston, VA according to Officer Wesley Cheeks. In fact, according to this fine public servant (no doubt counting his years, months and days until a fat government pension check) this isn't even America anymore. Don't know what I'm talking about folks, think ole Mister Meat and Taters has fallen out of his tree? Not quite.
Last week at a townhall meeting, a citizen was threatened with arrest for trespassing because he had the audacity to carry a sign. This kind of censorship at the hands of an officer who has almost limitless power to harrass you and change your future is scary beyond belief. Some of you will remember my blog entry back in June where I was harrassed by a Knoxville city police officer. Keeping police in check is a mandatory function of our media, other police officers and every citizen who appreciates our precious freedom.
Follow this link to the video of Wesley Cheeks in action and feel your blood boil. This officer should be fired immediately! We don't need people like him running around who feel they can "Charge you with whatever (they) want to charge you with", in his words.
