In case you missed it, Geraldo Rivera made an appearance on "Red-Eye" w/ Greg Gutfeld last night, very late. I suffered from a case of insomnia (no doubt due to the Obama assault on freedom and liberty) and decided to click on some late-night Fox News. In retrospect, I should have avoided it as the resulting blood pressure increase did nothing to help my insomnia!
The show "Red-Eye" is quite a hoot on occasion. It's usually geared for the college-age, just about to start voting demographic as it sports nubile models, musicians, comedians or other trendy guests. The dialogue is driven by current events, moves very quickly and achieves a group-think dynamic where anything goes. Last night though, the show took a turn for the terrible.
Geraldo Rivera saw fit to use the show as a venue for promoting his next piece of literary garbage which I hope and pray will be a flop! It has something to do with illegal immigration and how wealthy, white xenophobes are standing in the way. Awwwww, how sad that silly people like me actually expect other people to follow the laws on the books and for doing so, this makes us nasty RACISTS!
The Fox News "village idiot" went further to claim President Obama as the "first latino president" because hispanics voted for him overwhelmingly as a stinging REBUKE to Republicans for "...being azzes about immigration". I'm not making this outlandish stuff up folks! Rivera actually said this and you could see Greg Gutfeld appear somewhat taken aback.
As I wrote on my Twitter page (callsign: GrassrootTroopr), Geraldo Rivera is a racist and either ignorant or a disingeuous liar. Evidently he doesn't know that the "McCain-Kennedy Immigration Reform Act" of 2007 was rejected by Republicans AND democRATs. When it was discovered that these lawbreakers would receive amnesty with no real penaties whatsoever, people went absolutely nuts!
Mr. Rivera should buy himself a clue, Lord knows he has enough money to do so in our "racist country of white privilege".......NOT! If he actually reviewed the history books, he would find that it was REPUBLICANS PUSHING THE AMNESTY BILL! Namely, Senators McCain (AZ) and Graham (SC), President Bush and his head honcho Karl Rove! Are you this stupid Geraldo, if so may I recommend that Fox News pull your show from you and hand it to someone more capable like Greg Gutfeld!
Oh and one last quip for the latino racist at Fox News. If you want to foolishly claim credit for putting Obama in the White House then feel free to do so. But I wouldn't do it too loudly, have you seen his approval ratings? :-)
