He's in the bunker folks. That's right, our beleaguered president "Dumbo the Puppet" is battening down them hatches over on Martha's Vineyard while the polling numbers are showing his approval ratings at new lows. A little tip there Dumbo if you do leave your bunker, I wouldn't let Ted Kennedy do any of the driving on the Vineyard, especially over that bridge at Chappaquidick! It could get ugly.
Yesterday was my birthday and my what a present I received when the weekend polling results came in. Obama with a negative 14 point approval index, his worst showing ever! Keep in mind that the approval index is a comparison of those who strongly approve (the idiot, ignorant drones combined with the communists like Ryan) versus those who strongly disapprove of Obama's efforts. Right now, 27 percent strongly approve while 41 percent strongly disapprove.
All polling of LIKELY VOTERS shows Obama firmy entrenched in the 40's with Rasmussen showing a 48 percent approval and Zogby showing an abysmal 45 percent. Disregard the polling from the leftist, biased, erroneous media as they question all Americans, even those who wouldn't recognize the inside of a polling station if their life depended on it! The only results worth considering are those that reflect the views of informed Americans and naturally they would be likely voters.
Bottom line is that Obama has achieved the impossible folks. He has managed to squander an unbelievable level of political capital in just 6 months. Not even Jimmy Carter could accomplish that! Meanwhile, his foreign policy agenda items are stalled or floundering about in crisis as we sink deeper into a quagmire in Afghanistan. Obama is playing "whack-a-mole" and it's due to an overly aggressive gameplan of trying to do too much too soon. Let's chalk it up to inexperience and a feeling of invincibility, most likely facilitated by the extreme media tongue-bath he's received since almost day one of his campaign!
Now, the Obama forces see fit to desperately play the race card As if anyone of cognitive ability believes we'd be much more supportive of his Marxist agenda in the event his skin suddenly turned white! What a laugh for them to even attempt this but keep in mind that leftists are hideous creatures (just look at the young Marxist Ryan who foolishly comments ad nauseum on this blog) with Machiavellian modus operandi. Anything goes when it comes to tricking people into buying their socialist/Marxist agenda folks as they will stoop to the lowest of levels and destroy anyone standing in their path to absolute control!
The latest rumor is that democRATs might use a procedure known as "budget reconciliation" to ram through the public health insurance option and bypass the "supermajority" requirement of 60 votes in the U.S. Senate. This would be "dirty pool" on their part because the process of reconciliation was meant to fund existing government programs during a budget impasse, not create entirely new gargantuan government programs such as the one(s) being considered.
If democRATs attempt to hi-jack our Constitution and use a "nuclear option" against the threat of a filibuster, they will be writing their own political death warrants! Most Americans believe in and cherish their Constitution, they will not tolerate it being subverted for any reason. But this logic will fall on deaf ears aboard the "Democrat Crazy Train" we call Congress. Driven by hideous fanatics like Reid and Pelosi, this train will careen down the tracks out of control, until the tracks come to an end in November 2010.
