I've been looking for an excuse to "s-can" the Catholic church for several years in the wake of priest pedophilia and then churches giving asylum to illegal aliens who would not respect our immigration laws. Today, I have just the excuse I need.
Allowing President Barack "Dumbo the Puppet" Obama to not only speak at the Notre Dame graduation but receive an honorary doctorate degree has convinced me once and for all that the Catholic church is filled mostly with hypocrites. Yes, that's right. The same people who stood up for cheating on your wife in the 1990's with a 21 year old intern and then lying under oath about it have this time pushed things too far. Do these people even know about Obama's record on abortion and stem cell research? Probably not.
I was raised a Catholic my whole life and attended Our Lady of the Lake while growing up as a kid in Southwick, MA. It's sad to see everything the church stood for being thrown down the sewer in exchange for a moment of media attention. But is it a surprise? No, not at all. I saw Catholicism falling apart at the seams and its hypocritical parishoners standing for nothing, many years ago.
I shall never set foot in a Catholic church again.
