I've been pounding this theme home ad nauseum for months now and today there is more proof that what I'm saying is right on target like a Tomahawk cruise missile! Folks, there is a new war being waged in this country and it's the Government sector versus the People sector. In common vernacular this would be stated as "Public sector versus Private sector". Those of us in the private sector are among the "New Slavery Class" in this country and many are losing jobs BY THE MILLIONS! But what about those in government?
Government is adding jobs BY THE MILLIONS with well paid workers who make an average wage of $75,416 according to an article posted today on the Drudge Report. The source for the article is CBS (emphasis on the BS) and I hope they've done their research because I'm placing the reputation of the Meat and Potatoes Blog squarely on their shoulders. Perhaps I should pray?
Seriously though folks, we need to wake this country up to the threat posed by a Public sector growing out of control. Each government worker being hired means one less worker in the Private sector where most of our nation's progress is achieved. Was Microsoft formed in the government sector? How about Boeing aircraft, Ford Motor, Caterpillar, IBM or General Electric? None of the companies you rely on everyday to make your life easier and more fulfilling were created by PUBLIC SECTOR BUREAUCRATS! They were formed by PRIVATE SECTOR PATRIOTS who worked their fingers to the bone by inventing and innovating to their heart's content.
