Folks, I've had it up to my eyeballs with the Bush family of late. Father and son were so capable at giving the leftists perfect talking points to be uttered by dunderheaded douchebags. Try this sometime: go up to an obvious Obama voter and ask them "What do you remember about President Bush (41)?" You most likely get this gem "Read my lips, no new taxes". Then ask about President Bush (43) and you're just as likely to get either "compassionate conservative" or "he spent like a drunken sailor".
These are the narratives of the leftists who control the majority of our media when it comes to the Bush family and ignorant voters who pay little or no attention to political matters have been POUNDED with this message so that they can recite it with ease. Try it, if you don't believe me!
Now look who's out there, giving the statists additional talking points? It's Jeb Bush. I nearly did a forward flip out of my chair today when reading that ole Jeb wants us to throw Ronald Reagan under the bus quicker than Obama threw his white grandmother. How dare you Jeb? You rode Reagan's coattails to your political victories no doubt by invoking his memory in speeches and using his ideas at town hall meetings and in debates. Reagan-esque conservatism (which descends actually from Barry Goldwater...a great man) was good enough to get you elected as governor of Florida but now it just doesn't measure up, now why is that? Could it be due to the possiblity that the only prolific candidate in recent memory to sound like Reagan was a woman from Alaska? You bet.
But poor Sarah was saddled with a worn-out, wishy-washy moderate who tries to be all things to all people and she didn't stand a chance. I wrote several times that Sarah Palin should have been at the top of the ticket and my wildest, wet dream was to see her debate Mister Teleprompter or Dumbo the Puppet as I call him, you pick. Sarah would have gone up one side of Obama and down the other as the crowd cheered her and Reagan's memory on! If given the chance, Sarah Palin would have made clear that America was built in the private sector and now the public sector is tearing it down. Hard working, creative, intellectuals are literally slaving away so unproductive mildly disciplined underachievers can look forward to "puttin' in their 20" and retiring with fat government pensions.
This isn't the country Ronald Reagan envisioned when he talked about "Morning in America" and Sarah Palin knows that as well as the rest of us conservative intellectuals. Our leadership searches for a message to give to the confused moderates who were tricked into voting for the "trojan horse candidacy" that was Barack Obama. Well here's a message and coincidentally, it happens to be the title of a book that is number one on the NY Times Bestseller list last time I checked: "Liberty and Tyranny". I've nicknamed Mark Levin's blockbuster book "Republicans and Democrats" by the way and I hope he laughs when I tell him on the air sometime!
Republicans stand for liberty and as such, we stand for the PRIVATE sector. Democrats by contrast, are mostly statists and stand for the PUBLIC sector. As the public sector grows rampantly at the expense of the private sector, we are pushed farther towards tyranny. Does this sound like a simple message to bring forth to the dunderheaded douchebags who surround us?
Now if I could just get Sarah to say it.....
