Folks, your humble correspondent is sitting here listening to a supposed smart moneyman make a complete horse's A$$ out of himself on national radio. Moneytalk's Bob Brinker is actually making the claim that these upcoming April 15th Tea Parties are a "right-wing" vendetta against Barack Obama and nothing more. This is way over the top for someone who I thought was a critical thinker. Wow!
Hey Bob, newsflash for you there buddy. Comparing the spending of Obama to the spending of George W. Bush is like comparing the Queen Mary to your grandson's bathtub playtoy! Did you know that Obama plans to double the national debt in 5 years and TRIPLE IT IN 10 YEARS! Just how much did George W. Bush increase the deficit "Clueless Bob"? Chew on that!
Let me clue ole Brinker into the reality here, since he has an obvious dislike for the patriots carrying out these Tea Parties and an even greater dislike for George W. Bush. This country is SCREWED budgetarily speaking because of spending obligations put into our budget going back 70 years ago. These entitlement programs are UNTOUCHABLE and make up 50 percent of our budget. This spending is non-discretionary buddy! Don't go blaming George W. Bush for it or you risk sounding like an ignoramus or even worse, a Democrat party PROPAGANDIST!
People are having Tea Parties not because they are evil "right-wingers" Bob but because they feel that they are truly looking at "taxation without representation". Even Obama supporters are attending these Tea Parties because they were duped into voting for a man who is implementing a radical socialist agenda. Do you think any of them wanted a 1,017 page stimulus package of $787 Billion in crazy spending that was NOT read by any of the Democrats who voted for it? Doubtful. People know that the only way to pay for such irresponsible spending in the future is by raising taxes, they're not stupid.
